Apartment & room moves

I understand that the information I provide will be used for the purpose of an estimate/quote and not the fixed rate of the move. The fixed rate will be determined after the move is completed. If a Uhaul vehicle is required then that will be an additional charge as outlined above.

All Ikea or similar MDF/chipboard/modular connecting furniture is not guaranteed to withstand the moving process and the owner assumes all the risk of moving it.

We require that your items be boxed or contained appropriately before we show up to move them. All moving boxes/bags/totes are to be properly packed with proper tape, and within a reasonable weight limit for 1 person to carry.

All televisions, computers, gaming consoles, stereo equipment and other electronics are to be either in the original boxing or appropriate boxing/packaging to be moved. If you ask us to move these regardless then we will do our absolute best to secure/protect them but there is no guarantee or liability on the movers.

All lamps, lamp shades, other glass or breakable household equipment are to be either in the original boxing or appropriate boxing/packaging to be moved. Moving does not include disassembly or reassembly of any furniture. If you require that, please inform the movers 24 hours in advance and we will accommodate to the best of our ability using the most common tools we have. This will also add to the total time charge if necessary and available within your moving window.

Please make sure all moving pathways are free of harmful debris, clutter, or seasonal hazards (leaves, snow, ice).

If you require transportation for yourself with us during a move please request that within 24 hours before the move.

Any physical or verbal abuse towards the movers is never tolerated and will end the move with the requirement of full payment of the total move as if completed. This includes racism, sexism and demeaning behaviour.
